when using the technology I use to teach my lesson helps get the students attending because what kid or person doesn't like using technology and having fun at the same time. youtube has a lot of fun things on there that will caught a student attention quickly. when you use something that you know students will like to learn about and ands also make a way where they can have fun doing it, then you know it's working. my strategy for teaching this lesson was to show them a fun video of other 2nd graders doing the same drills they were about to do, so they would get a better feel for it and see how much fun they were having learning how to drill. so when using youtube I wanted the students to get a better understanding on what I explained to them before we get into the drills. and so they will know why it was so important to learn how to shoot ...
